Released in 2019 by ZeniMax Online Studios, The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr is a major expansion chapter for the online role-playing game available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. Set in the Khajiit homeland of Elsweyr, the expansion sends players across sun-scorched savannahs and deep canyons amid a region torn apart by warfare. The central threat comes from dragons, which have returned to Tamriel and now attack from the skies, pushing players to seek out new allies and weapons capable of bringing them down. The expansion also introduces the Necromancer, a new character class built around raising and commanding the undead. Elsweyr forms the first part of the Season of the Dragon, a year-long narrative arc that continues across three additional DLC packs, representing one of the broader storytelling efforts undertaken within The Elder Scrolls Online's ongoing structure.
