Based on the Cartoon Network animated series of the same name, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy is a fighting and beat 'em up game developed by Full Fat and released in 2006 for Nintendo GameCube, Wii, and PlayStation 2. The game features two primary modes: Battle Mode, in which players face off in destructible arenas such as the Desert of Doom and the Underworld using a wide variety of weapons, and Adventure Mode, a story-driven series of missions that can be tackled solo or cooperatively with a second player. Completing objectives in Adventure Mode rewards players with unlockable weapons and additional playable characters drawn from the television series. The overall design leans into the chaotic, irreverent tone of its source material.
