Released in 2003 by Climax Brighton for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube, The Italian Job is a racing game based on the film of the same name. Players take control of Charlie Croker and various gang members as they seek revenge after being betrayed during a major gold heist in Venice. The story mode follows the crew to Los Angeles, where objectives include engineering a massive traffic jam before making an escape in supercharged Mini Coopers. Beyond the narrative campaign, the game offers four additional modes covering stunt driving and circuit racing, as well as multiplayer support for up to two players. The title draws directly from the film's premise and setting, translating its heist and chase sequences into a variety of driving-focused challenges across its different modes.
