A marble platformer developed by NaissusWorks and released in 2017 for PC, The Little Ball That Could draws inspiration from classics such as Marble Madness and Super Monkey Ball while adding exploration and speedrunning elements to the formula. The game follows a small ball denied entry to the Haven — a sanctuary requiring all entrants to carry a heart — and tasks players with collecting enough hearts to repair the broken stamping machine that grants access. Across 120 large, non-linear levels divided among five low-poly worlds, players navigate hazardous traps, deadly drops, and maze-like environments while gathering gems, locating hidden puzzle pieces, and rescuing trapped companions. Physics-based controls support both keyboard and gamepad input. Unlockable ball skins and powers can significantly alter gameplay, and saving friends throughout the campaign unlocks an alternative ending. The experience is estimated at over nine hours of content.
