A Walk in the Park is a 2017 action RPG expansion for The Surge, released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It moves away from the base game's grim industrial corridors and into CREO World, an amusement park that CREO built for its employees and their families. Despite the more open, colorful setting, the park is just as dangerous as the facilities that came before it. The disaster that overtook the CREO complex has spread here as well: rescue teams operating within the park have lost their minds, and robotic mascot characters now roam the grounds as threats rather than entertainment. Players continue the hack-and-slash combat and limb-targeting mechanics of the base game while navigating this warped leisure environment, confronting a new set of enemies and hazards that contrast sharply with the park's originally festive purpose.
