The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Ch 2: Retribution is a VR action-adventure developed by Skydance Interactive and released in 2023 for Meta Quest 2, PlayStation VR2, and SteamVR. A direct continuation of the first game, it follows the Tourist through post-apocalyptic New Orleans as two converging threats emerge: the Tower's aggressive bid for total control and the Axeman, a relentless pursuer whose connection to the Tower's schemes forms the central mystery. Players take on missions from multiple factions, scavenge resources, and explore expanded areas of the French Quarter across both daytime and nighttime versions of each map. Combat relies on physics-based VR mechanics with a broad arsenal of conventional and improvised weapons, while stealth and melee-focused approaches remain viable alternatives. A new survivor faction, the Exiles, offers quests and rewards, though players can also choose to exploit or undermine them — decisions that continue the series' alignment system of saintly or sinister conduct.
