IMC Rising is a downloadable content pack for Respawn Entertainment's 2014 first-person shooter Titanfall, released for PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The pack expands the game's multiplayer offering with three new maps set across the Frontier: Backwater, Zone 18, and Sand Trap. Each map provides additional arenas for the game's signature blend of fast-moving pilot combat and large-scale Titan warfare. As a focused multiplayer expansion, IMC Rising gives players more varied terrain in which to engage in the wall-running, parkour-driven gunplay that defines the base game. The addition of three distinct environments broadens the competitive rotation available across Titanfall's suite of multiplayer modes, extending the overall lifespan of the game's online experience.
"Despite gains made in earlier conflicts, the IMC must seek every advantage they can find, given that their reinforcements from the Core Systems are still years away. In "IMC Rising ", the IMC begin recommissioning old secret installations to rekindle their shattered industrial military complex. In support of this objective, IMC security forces deploy to track down their own deserters and mutineers, before too many of the installations' precise coordinates find their way into the hands of the Militia."
