Traffix is a minimalist puzzle and strategy game developed by Ankit Tanwar, released in 2019 for Android, PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch. Players manage traffic intersections across cities inspired by real-world locations such as Paris, Tokyo, Istanbul, and Las Vegas, controlling traffic lights to prevent collisions and keep vehicles moving smoothly. The core mechanic involves tapping or clicking lights at the right moment: red halts all traffic, yellow allows a single vehicle through before reverting to red, and double-clicking activates green to open the flow entirely — though green carries the highest crash risk. Vehicles include cars, buses, vans, trucks, trains, and planes, with complexity increasing as players progress through levels. A secondary Chaos Mode challenges experienced players to safely guide police cars through especially hectic intersections, where a single crash ends the run. Despite its relaxed visual style, some levels demand precise timing and sustained concentration.
