Trials HD is a physics-based motorcycle racing game developed by RedLynx, released in 2009 for Xbox 360 (later available on Xbox One and PC). The game features more than 50 tracks spread across two distinct modes. Race Mode centers on precision riding through indoor obstacle courses, demanding careful balance, control, and technique to navigate each challenge. Skill Mode takes a markedly different approach, placing riders in extreme scenarios where explosive crashes and injuries are often unavoidable — and occasionally the intended outcome. The combination of platforming mechanics, puzzle-like track design, and competitive racing elements gives the game a varied identity, rewarding both careful methodical play and a more chaotic sensibility depending on which mode is being pursued.
The player must guide a trial motorcycle with exaggerated physics through various obstacles to reach each stage's finish line.
