Tron Evolution: Battle Grids is a 2010 adventure game developed by n-Space for the Wii, set within the digital world of Tron. Players create custom programs and use them to fight enemies across a story mode structured around small hub areas, where other programs offer quests that reward bits — a currency also found scattered throughout the environment. Combat takes place both on foot in hand-to-hand encounters and aboard various vehicles, including Grid Tanks, Light Cycles, and Recognizers. The story mode blends these traversal and combat mechanics across multiple distinct game types. A cheat code system provides an additional means of unlocking in-game content. Outside of the main campaign, the game supports local multiplayer for up to four players simultaneously, though no online play is available.
