Tube Slider is a futuristic hover-craft racing game developed by NDCube and released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2003. Players pilot high-speed craft across ten tracks set in sleek, technology-driven environments. Each vehicle is capable of reaching extreme velocities, with side boosters enabling sharp cornering at full speed and a short-duration turbo function providing additional bursts of acceleration. Three modes are available: Grand Prix, Time Trial, and Free Ride. Grand Prix strings races together in sequence, with finishing position determining whether a player advances toward the championship title. Time Trial and Free Ride offer alternative ways to experience the tracks outside of competitive pressure. The game's emphasis is squarely on high-velocity racing and moment-to-moment vehicle control, making it a straightforward entry in the futuristic racing subgenre that draws comparisons to other anti-gravity racing titles of its era.
