Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is a 2006 role-playing game developed by tri-Ace, released for PlayStation Portable and later made available on iOS and Android. It is a port of the Japanese PlayStation version of the original Valkyrie Profile, meaning it does not incorporate the gameplay adjustments introduced in the original English release. However, the additional cinematics from that English version are retained, and the original anime cutscenes have been replaced entirely with full motion video sequences tied to story events. The English localization builds on the original game's script, which Square Enix revised and refined; new voice recordings for the CG movies were handled by New Generation Pictures rather than the studio responsible for the initial localization. Notable between versions is a name reversal involving the characters Frei and Freya relative to both Norse mythology and the Japanese source material.
