Viper Racing is a 1998 PC racing simulator developed by Monster Games, notable for being the first simulation built entirely around the Dodge Viper. The game offers two distinct driving styles: an accessible arcade mode and a more demanding simulation mode with three difficulty levels. A career mode allows players to accumulate earnings, upgrade their vehicle, and advance through three tiers of the Viper racing league. The package includes multiple tracks, a post-race replay system, and a garage mode for fine-tuning car setup. The physics engine was considered technically sophisticated for its time, and the hard-difficulty AI is capable of aggressive, contact-heavy racing behavior. The game also contains unofficial hidden content, including drivable planes and an exotic car, though most of these extras feature incomplete vehicle models and are generally unpolished. The exotic car is the only such addition considered reasonably functional.
