Wall World is a roguelite mining and tower defense hybrid developed by Alawar, released in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Players traverse an endless vertical wall aboard a mechanical spider, descending into procedurally generated mines to gather resources and technologies between waves of enemy attacks. The core loop alternates between underground exploration and surface defense: miners dig through increasingly resistant rock to find upgrade materials, then return to their robospider before the next monster assault begins. Combat involves a range of weapons, from machine guns to homing missiles, and can continue on the move if the situation demands it. Progression involves upgrading both the exosuit for faster movement and harder rock penetration, and the robospider's combat capabilities. Players can also construct turrets, repair stations, and resource harvesters, provided they first locate the necessary blueprints deeper in the Wall.
