Released in 2000 by Crystal Dynamics for PC, PlayStation, and Dreamcast, Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour is a kart-style racing game set within the Disney theme park universe. The game features 13 playable characters, which at the time of release exceeded the roster size of competing kart racers. Rather than restricting players to a single vehicle type, each track assigns a different mode of transport — options include bobsleds, rocket ships, and others tied to the course setting. Progression and combat rely on a variety of collectible power-ups. Mickey coins accumulate to incrementally increase speed, while a guided bottle rocket can be aimed directly at rival racers for a simultaneous boost and offensive strike. Offensive items also include a frog spell that disrupts opponents' movement and an acorn projectile that sends them into a spin.
