Wario: Master of Disguise is a platform-puzzle game developed by Nintendo, released in 2007 for the Nintendo DS and later available on Wii U. The game follows Wario, a greed-driven schemer who, after watching a television program about a master thief, jumps through his TV screen to pursue a treasure-hunting career of his own. Guided by a talking magic wand named Goodstyle, players use the DS stylus to draw symbols directly onto Wario, transforming him into different costumed forms that grant new abilities. These disguises are central to navigating and solving the game's challenges across a variety of exotic settings, including a luxury ocean liner, submerged ruins, and an Egyptian pyramid. The overarching objective is straightforward: help Wario collect as much loot as possible across his globe-spanning misadventures.
