WarioWare: Smooth Moves is a 2006 arcade and puzzle game developed by Nintendo for the Wii and Wii U. The game follows Wario and a cast of returning and new characters from the WarioWare universe as they discover a mysterious book and a mystical object called the Form Baton. Gameplay revolves around rapid-fire sequences of microgames, each requiring players to reposition the Wii Remote into a different physical hold before completing a brief challenge. These grip variations, inspired by the Form Baton, are the central mechanic, demanding quick reflexes and adaptability as the required holds shift constantly between microgames. The format maintains the series' signature frantic pacing, presenting each tiny challenge in a matter of seconds before moving to the next. Both solo and multiplayer modes make use of the motion-based control scheme to deliver the game's characteristically absurd, fast-moving style.
