Weapon of Choice DX is a run-and-gun action platformer developed by Mommy's Best Games, released in 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players control members of the Solus Operatives, a squad of fighters battling a gene-splicing alien invasion that has unleashed grotesque creatures across the world. Each playable character comes with a distinct weapon and set of abilities, encouraging players to seek out and unlock new operatives throughout the campaign. Branching stage paths give players meaningful choices about how to progress, adding replayability to the arcade-style structure. Combat is fast-paced and focused on clearing waves of bizarre, mutated enemies.
