What the Dub?! is a party trivia and creativity game developed by Wide Right Interactive, released in 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac. Up to six players compete by writing replacement dialogue for deliberately blank segments of curated video clips drawn from low-budget B-movies, outdated public service announcements, and obscure industrial films. Once all entries are submitted, the group watches each dubbed clip play back through text-to-speech audio and votes on the funniest result, with the highest vote-getter earning points toward overall victory. The game ships with over 600 clips, and community-created clip packs can expand that library further. Players input their text via any web-enabled device such as a smartphone or tablet, and text-to-speech output supports more than 29 languages. A dedicated Twitch integration allows up to 12 additional audience members to participate as voters, and built-in moderation tools help keep sessions manageable for streamers.
