Based on the animated series of the same name, Xiaolin Showdown is a 2006 action game developed by Razorback Developments for PlayStation 2, Xbox, PlayStation Portable, and Nintendo DS. Players control Omi, a kung fu monk, alongside three young martial arts apprentices as they travel the globe searching for and defending the Shen Gong Wu — mystical artifacts that grant supernatural abilities. Standing in their way are the self-styled Evil Boy Genius Jack Spicer, his robot army, and the ancient witch Wuya. Gameplay blends platforming, brawling, and hack-and-slash combat across hazard-filled environments where players collect Shen Gong Wu and face enemy encounters throughout. Special arena-based Showdown battles shift the setting into a heightened mystical realm, challenging players to apply martial arts skills in high-stakes, winner-take-all confrontations. Six characters with distinct kung fu powers are available, and cooperative use of their combined abilities is central to progression.
