Yet Another Zombie Defense HD is a top-down arcade shooter with strategy elements developed by Marcin Draszczuk, released in 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game casts players as survivors facing relentless waves of zombies that grow stronger with each passing night. Between waves, players spend time constructing barricades, purchasing weapons and ammunition, mounting firearms on automated turrets, and laying traps to prepare for the next assault. The arsenal includes shotguns, rocket launchers, flamethrowers, and other weapons, several of which can be fitted to auto-turrets. Different zombie types and collectible power-ups add variety to the combat. Three modes are available — Defense, Endless, and Deathmatch — and the game supports both local and online cooperative play for up to four players. A Steam Workshop integration allows players to create custom characters and levels. Global leaderboards track survival performance across the player base.
