Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012 is a Kinect-based fitness simulator developed for Xbox 360 and released in 2011, serving as the follow-up to the original Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. The game offers more than 90 hours of activities spanning disciplines such as Boot Camp, Cardio Boxing, Jump Rope, Yoga, and dance styles including Latin, Hip-hop, African, and Bollywood. Workouts can be targeted toward specific muscle groups and adjusted to suit individual fitness levels, goals, schedules, and preferences. The motion-tracking system provides real-time feedback on player movements and extends its capabilities to floor-based exercises like push-ups and sit-ups, an improvement over its predecessor. A social component called Your Shape Center allows players to share progress and compete against friends as well as a broader global community, adding an ongoing competitive element to personal fitness routines.
