Zero Divide is a 3D fighting game developed by ZOOM, released in 1995 for PlayStation and later available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, and PC. The game is set inside a virtual computer environment that has been taken over by a group called XTAL, and the player assumes the role of a rogue program tasked with eliminating ten mercenary units — including two hidden bosses — before the system is lost entirely. Combat takes place in a full 360-degree arena with four selectable camera angles, including a first-person fighter perspective. Each opponent has a distinct fighting style, and the roster of moves includes named techniques such as the Hyper Headbutt and Tomo Vortex Throw, with jumping attacks incorporated into combos. A Ring Edge mechanic allows fighters to grab the arena's perimeter to avoid ring-outs. An on-screen body damage diagram tracks injuries by location, informing targeted attack strategies. Replay footage can be saved, slowed, paused, and viewed from adjustable angles.
