Arcatera: The Dark Brotherhood is a role-playing adventure game developed by Westka Interactive GmbH and released in 2000 for PC. Gameplay centers on navigating a town and its surrounding areas, conversing with inhabitants, and collecting information to move the narrative forward. At the outset, players select from one of four distinct character classes — fighter, thief, magician, or monk — each offering a different approach to the adventure. A port for the Sega Dreamcast was developed but ultimately never made it to market, leaving the PC release as the sole available version of the game.
Something is rotten in the quiet medieval town of Senora. A mysterious Dark Brotherhood seems to have taken control over the town, and it's the player character's job to discover the identity of the villains and liberate the inhabitants.
