Released in 2015 by Ubisoft Montpellier, Dead Kings is a downloadable content expansion for Assassin's Creed: Unity, available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Set after the events of the main game, it follows Arno Dorian as he travels to Saint-Denis, a town historically known as the burial site of French royalty. There, Arno confronts a band of raiders who are plundering the royal tombs. The expansion continues the action-adventure gameplay of the base title, placing Arno in a new environment centered on the crypts and streets of Saint-Denis. As a standalone add-on, Dead Kings extends the narrative of Unity while offering a self-contained storyline that picks up directly where the principal campaign concluded.
