Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk is a role-playing game developed by Gust and released for PlayStation 3 in 2012, beginning a new story arc within the long-running Atelier series. The game follows Ayesha Altugle, a young woman living and working alone in a remote workshop after losing her grandfather and believing her younger sister to be dead. She sustains herself by crafting and selling medicine until a discovery reveals that her sister may still be alive somewhere in the world. From that point, Ayesha's journey is driven by the promise to find her. Gameplay centers on alchemy-based crafting mechanics and a revised battle system, with exploration spread across a range of environments.
