Big Beach Sports is a 2008 multi-sport collection developed by HB Studios for the Wii, featuring six casual beach-themed athletic events including bocce and disc golf. Players begin by creating a character, then compete across two main modes: Quick Play and structured tournaments against progressively more difficult CPU opponents. All six sports rely exclusively on the Wii Remote, with no Nunchuck or additional peripherals required. Up to four players can participate simultaneously in most events, while bocce and disc golf use an alternating-turn format. Performance in both modes earns Skill Points, which the game uses to calibrate the difficulty of future Quick Play opponents. Tournaments offer a fixed difficulty progression, but Quick Play allows continued play beyond that, with Skill Points capping at 999 per sport. AI opposition becomes notably more demanding once a player surpasses 900 points in a given event.
