Castlevania Judgment is a 3D fighting game developed by Eighting and released for the Wii in 2008, marking the first time the Castlevania series ventured into the arena fighting genre. The premise centers on a villain named Galamoth, who resurrects an ancient demon called the Time Reaper in an attempt to eliminate Dracula by altering history. A time-traveling magician named Aeon counters this scheme by pulling warriors from across different eras of the Castlevania timeline into a single temporal rift. Players select from these characters and battle opponents one-on-one across fully three-dimensional arenas. The game includes several modes: a Story mode, Training, and Versus for standard competitive play, alongside a Castle mode in which players navigate Dracula's Castle before confronting the Time Reaper, and a Survival mode that removes continues and challenges players to persist as long as possible.
