Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is a 2008 action role-playing platformer developed by Konami for the Nintendo DS. Set in a world where the Belmont clan's legendary whip has disappeared, the game follows Shanoa, a young woman with the rare ability to absorb and channel supernatural sigils called Glyphs. She serves the Order of Ecclesia, an organization that emerged to fill the power vacuum left by the whip's absence and stands as humanity's last defense against Dracula. Central to gameplay is the Glyph system, which offers more than 100 attack combinations drawn from abilities Shanoa collects throughout her journey. Players explore 20 distinct areas while facing Dracula's forces, completing side quests, and gathering items to strengthen their character.
