Conan is an action hack-and-slash title developed by Nihilistic Software and released in 2007 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, set within the sword-and-sorcery world of Hyboria drawn from Robert E. Howard's original fiction. Players guide the barbarian warrior Conan across five distinct regions — ranging from the frozen landscapes of Cimmeria to the dense jungles of Dafar — navigating secret temples, cursed catacombs, and hidden caves along the way. Combat is built around 16 weapon types spanning swords, axes, and maces, with 50 unlockable combos providing considerable depth to the fighting system. A central objective involves recovering scattered pieces of the legendary Atlantean Sword and reassembling them into a powerful ultimate weapon. Ten boss encounters punctuate the campaign. Beyond the main quest, the game includes a multiplayer component featuring 11 arenas and three competitive modes: Death Match, Body Count, and Time Challenge.
