Digimon World Dawn is a role-playing game developed by Namco Bandai Games for the Nintendo DS, released in North America in 2007. Known in Japan as Digimon Story Sunburst, it is the second entry in the Digimon Story series, though it was marketed under the Digimon World branding for Western audiences. The game places players in a digital world populated by Digimon creatures, following the series' established framework of collecting, raising, and battling these monsters. As an RPG on the DS handheld, it takes advantage of the platform's portable format to deliver creature-collection gameplay in a style consistent with the broader Digimon franchise.
