Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 is a turn-based role-playing game developed by Tose for the Nintendo DS, released in 2010. Players take on the role of a Monster Scout who, after an airship is struck by lightning, crash-lands on a strange and mysterious island. The immediate goal is to locate missing passengers and crew members, but escaping the island requires unraveling its many secrets. Throughout the adventure, players encounter wild monsters that can be recruited and assembled into a combat party. These monsters form the backbone of battles against the island's various enemies.
