Released in 2023 for PC and Nintendo Switch, Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is a role-playing compilation from Atlus that brings together high-definition remasters of the first three entries in the Etrian Odyssey series. Each game casts the player as the leader of a guild of adventurers venturing into multi-layered labyrinths: a sprawling forest bordering a quiet village in Etrian Odyssey HD, a castle suspended in the sky in Etrian Odyssey II HD, and an oceanic setting haunted by rumors of a sunken city in Etrian Odyssey III HD. Core gameplay revolves around manually charting dungeons on a map while engaging enemies in turn-based tactical combat, then returning to town to rest, purchase upgraded equipment with harvested materials, and adjust the party roster.
