Dead Living Zombies is the third and final downloadable content pack for Far Cry 5, released in 2018 by Ubisoft Montreal for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The expansion reframes Far Cry 5's open-world shooter mechanics as a series of seven zombie-movie scenarios conceived by fictional director Guy Marvel, set across varied locations including city rooftops, farmland, and military bases. Players fight through waves of undead enemies that include agile Gougers, explosive Hot Heads, and large Behemoths, either solo or cooperatively with one other player. Beyond the main wave-based combat, each map features a Score Attack mode in which earning a three-star rating unlocks weapons and gear that carry over into the base campaign. The pack is also included as part of the Far Cry 5 Gold Edition and Season Pass.
