The core game offers a roster of 500 vehicles spanning everyday road cars to dedicated race cars. The title incorporates Xbox 360 Kinect support in several ways. Players using a standard controller or steering wheel can employ Kinect independently for head tracking, allowing them to look toward corner apexes or at nearby competitors. Alternatively, Kinect can serve as the sole input device, with the player's outstretched arms simulating a steering wheel while the game manages acceleration and braking automatically. Voice commands through Kinect also allow menu navigation and race starts.
