Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon is an action-adventure RPG developed by tri-Crescendo and released for the Wii in 2009. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where most of humanity has perished, the game follows a young boy named Seto who, guided by a note from his late grandfather, sets out toward a glowing red tower on the horizon. Along the way he encounters a silver-haired girl named Ren, whose presence motivates him to continue searching for human connection in an otherwise desolate landscape. Gameplay unfolds from a third-person perspective, with the Wii Remote controlling a flashlight that illuminates dark environments, exposes hidden enemies, and enables puzzle-solving, while the Nunchuck handles movement including sneaking and crouching. Combat involves melee weapons such as sticks, an iron pipe, a bamboo sword, a bow, a hammer, and a katana, used primarily against ghosts. Scattered items including sketches and short stories reveal the final moments of those lost in the catastrophe.
