Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball is a licensed sports title developed by Iguana UK and released in 1995 across multiple platforms, including Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, DOS, Sega Saturn, and PlayStation. The game was among the first baseball titles to employ motion-captured 3D graphics, presenting 28 individually distinct stadiums rendered in three dimensions, each with meaningfully different layouts and visual characteristics, along with multiple camera angle options. Six game modes are available, ranging from single exhibition matches to full seasons and playoff runs, with a dedicated Home Run Derby mode also included. Pitching mechanics allow players to select delivery types such as fastballs and curveballs, with additional control over speed and height. Batters and pitchers can be chosen according to their in-game statistics. Fielding can be handled manually or left to computer control, and infield and outfield positioning depths are adjustable throughout play.
