Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is a tactical turn-based RPG developed by CyberConnect2, released in 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Set one year after the original game, the story follows Malt and a group of children who board the enemy tank Tarascus to pursue the rogue Taranis, which has gone haywire and abducted several of their companions. Combat builds on the foundation of its predecessor with a revamped Soul Cannon mechanic, a newly introduced Managarm system, and branching battlefield routes that shape tactical options on a given encounter. An airship support system adds further strategic flexibility. Outside of battle, a Judgment Gauge tracks player decisions throughout the story, with choices accumulating to influence how narrative events unfold. Prior familiarity with the first entry is not required to follow the sequel's story.
