God of War Saga is a 2012 PlayStation 3 compilation assembling all five entries in Sony's action-adventure series, released as part of Sony's PlayStation Collections line. The set brings together God of War, God of War II, and God of War III alongside the two PSP titles, God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta, the latter two appearing on home console through this collection. Across all five games, players control Kratos, a Spartan warrior engaged in brutal combat against figures and creatures drawn from Greek mythology. The gameplay centers on hack-and-slash combat, with players chaining attacks, executing finishing moves, and solving environmental puzzles across sprawling mythological settings.
