A cooperative arcade shooter developed by Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix in collaboration with 343 Industries, Halo: Fireteam Raven was released in 2018 exclusively for arcade cabinets. Set during the events of Halo: Combat Evolved, the game casts players as members of Fireteam Raven, a squad of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers stationed on the surface of Alpha Halo. The mission centers on stopping the Covenant, an alien military alliance, from seizing control of the ancient superweapon the ring world contains. Designed for cooperative play, the cabinet supports multiple players engaging together in on-rails combat across encounters that run parallel to the storyline of the original Halo. The collaboration with 343 Industries, the franchise's current steward, grounds the experience firmly within established Halo canon while adapting its universe for a large-format arcade setting.
