Developed by Sega AM2 and released for Nintendo Switch in 2020, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix is an arcade-style rhythm game in which players tap and time inputs to a soundtrack of 101 songs. The library draws from across the Project Diva series' history, incorporating newly recorded tracks alongside a freshly composed theme song. Beyond the music, the game includes more than 300 costume modules for dressing up characters, and its 3D character models have been reworked with a more anime-influenced visual style. Several game modes were designed exclusively for the Switch version, taking advantage of the platform's distinct hardware.
