Ikenfell is a turn-based tactical RPG developed by Happy Ray Games and released in 2020 for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Set within a sprawling magic school filled with dorms, alchemy labs, an astronomy tower, and other mysterious locations, the game follows a group of magic students as they uncover dark secrets hidden throughout the institution. Combat draws on timing mechanics rather than a mana system — players execute spells and block incoming attacks through well-timed inputs, rewarding skill and strategy over resource management. Up to three of six available characters can participate in battle at once, each bringing distinct abilities from a pool of 48 spells. Over 100 enemy types and 22 bosses test tactical thinking, while hundreds of wearable items and magical artifacts are hidden throughout the school. The game's soundtrack was composed by the team behind Steven Universe.
