In Stars and Time is a turn-based RPG developed by insertdisc5 and released in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The game follows Siffrin and a group of adventurers — a found family working together to overthrow a tyrannical king — who become trapped in a time loop after a tragedy strikes at the moment of apparent victory. Only Siffrin is aware of the repeating cycle, and the psychological toll accumulates with each reset despite his outwardly cheerful demeanor. Gameplay centers on replaying the same two days repeatedly, with each loop granting Siffrin new insight into the world, unlocking alternative puzzle solutions and additional conversational options. Combat uses a Rock, Paper, Scissors mechanic in strategic turn-based encounters. Players equip memories of companions as armor to strengthen the party, and praying to the Change God provides incremental improvements across loops. The cast includes five distinct characters, each with their own personality and role within the group dynamic.
