Released in 1996 by Sir-tech Software for DOS and Windows, Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games is a turn-based tactical strategy title and a standalone follow-up in the Jagged Alliance series. Players command a roster of mercenaries — drawn from a pool of 70 characters, including 10 new additions alongside all 60 from the original game — across varied environments ranging from jungles and deserts to towns and frozen wastelands. The expanded arsenal introduces weapons such as mortars, grenade launchers, and booby trap kits. A solo campaign provides a structured single-player experience, while network multiplayer support accommodates competitive or cooperative play. A scenario editor and campaign editor are also included, allowing players to construct custom maps, place traps, design enemies, and build original missions, substantially extending the game's replayability beyond its packaged content.
