Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions is a role-playing adventure developed by AlphaDream and released for Nintendo 3DS in 2017. A remake of the original game that launched the Mario & Luigi series, it follows Mario, Luigi, and Bowser as they travel to the Beanbean Kingdom to recover Princess Peach's stolen voice. Players control the two brothers simultaneously, using their combined Bros. Moves to navigate puzzles and engage in turn-based combat. Battles reward attentiveness to enemy patterns, with well-timed inputs enabling counterattacks. Alongside the main campaign, the package includes Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser, a supplementary mode that retells the events from the perspective of Bowser's minions. In that mode, players recruit and command an expanding army of minion characters as they search for their missing leader.
