Developed by Nintendo Software Technology and released in 2010 for the Nintendo DS, Mini-Land Mayhem! is the fourth entry in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series, blending platforming and puzzle mechanics. The story begins at the opening of Mario's latest theme park, where the first hundred visitors each receive a Mini Pauline toy. Donkey Kong, arriving as the 101st guest, leaves empty-handed and responds by kidnapping Pauline, prompting Mario and an army of Mini Mario toys to chase him through the park. Gameplay centers on guiding these wind-up figures through increasingly complex levels by placing and adjusting objects in their path. The game also expands the series' creative side, introducing new challenges alongside enhanced tools for building and sharing user-created content with other players.
