Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a first-person shooter developed by Danger Close and released in 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U. A direct sequel to the 2010 series reboot, it follows Tier 1 soldier Preacher as he struggles to reintegrate into civilian life before being drawn back into action after a PETN explosion on American soil. Alongside returning characters Stump, Mother, and Voodoo, the campaign spans locations including the Philippines, Bosnia, and Somalia. Built on EA DICE's Frostbite 2 engine, the game features a multiplayer suite supporting up to 20 players across eight maps and modes such as Team Deathmatch, Combat Mission, and Sector Control. A notable addition is the Fireteam mode, pairing two players to share health and ammunition. Players choose from six character classes and can select Tier 1 operatives representing ten nations, including Germany, South Korea, Russia, and multiple branches of the U.S. military.
