Monopoly Streets is a digital board game adaptation developed by EA Salt Lake and released in 2010 for PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360, created to mark the 75th anniversary of the Monopoly franchise. Rather than presenting a traditional top-down board view, the game renders Mr. Monopoly's world as a fully animated city at street level, visually evolving as players acquire and develop properties. Core gameplay follows the familiar structure of buying, trading, and building on properties ranging from Baltic Avenue to Boardwalk, with the goal of accumulating wealth and bankrupting opponents. New mechanics, including property auctions, supplement the classic rules. Players can compete locally or, on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, against others online. The city itself changes in appearance to reflect the state of play, giving the established board game format a more dynamic visual presentation.
