NBA Live 19 is a basketball simulation game developed by EA Sports, released in 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game centers on a career mode called The ONE, in which players build a customizable basketball player and pursue progression across multiple competitive contexts, including the NBA league circuit and a Street World Tour set on courts around the world. A dedicated personal court can be configured with custom rules and rosters. Squad construction is a core element, allowing the player to assemble a roster drawn from current NBA players, historical legends, and cultural figures. The game also introduces a 1v1 mode supported by the Real Player Motion animation system, which is designed to give players greater moment-to-moment control over movement and positioning during individual matchups. Community-based court defense challenges are also part of the online component.
