NBA Street is a 3-on-3 arcade basketball game developed by EA Canada, released in 2001 for PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube. Players compete in streetball-style matches where performing tricks and combos builds a Gamebreaker meter — landing a Gamebreaker shot not only scores points but also subtracts from the opposing team's total, making it a potentially decisive momentum shift. The game features a tournament mode in which defeating a team offers the option to recruit its players onto the player's roster, adding a progression element as opponents grow more challenging. A character creation system allows players to build custom athletes and unlock new courts, teams, and rewards over time, with competition against both streetball and NBA legends.
